CPO and Molly Glynn often perform as a duo (there are other "Saps" not included on this recording) and it was at one of these gigs in Long Beach when I heard them perform "Firecracker."
lyrics
"I wrote this song about a fictitious character named "Firecracker." She is loosely based on a middle-aged redhead woman I met at the Auld Dubliner in downtown Long Beach. Anthony fortunately approached Molly and I one night when we were playing an acoustic set at 4th street Vine in Long Beach with a few other outstanding artists. He liked the song so after the show we went over to the Compound and laid it down.
Special thanks to Trader Joe's for the Powerberries which kept us going and pelvic air thrusting until 4am!"
our own "wrecking crew" Marc Ford and the boys offer up a bunch of "Live" records. Two of which were live here at The Compound with audience. The Compound Studio
